Week 80 Mar. 11 - Nisqually Wildlife Refuge, again

Total Distance: Approximately 4 miles
Elevation Gain: Approximately 10 ft.
Time: 10:50 am - 1:10 pm (I think…)
Weather: Mostly cloudy, chilly, with a little rain.

For a variety of reasons, my hike in week 80 was a tough one.  I woke up late and exhausted.  I had no plan, so I just chose a place that I had been to before that was close and had little logistics.  I went back to the Nisqually Wildlife Refuge.  It was kind of a neat symmetry since the week before I was on the ridge southwest of the Nisqually Glacier, the source of the Nisqually river.  And this week, I was where that river runs into the ocean.  It was a good walk.  I got out to the point near the end of the tide flats.

Orchid: Juvenile bald eagle that flew and landed about 100 yards from me.

Onion: Not having a plan for the weekend.
